Sunday was my Mother-in-law's birthday. I wanted to make a different birthday cake - something that was "springy" and feminine. After looking at ideas on line I decided on a
Hat Cake!
Round cake pan for the bottom layer and a bowl for the top layer.
Add a ribbon....
and a bow......
I also put a big pink silk flower in the middle of the bow
(but forgot to take a picture of it!)
It was fun to make and made a very cute, different birthday cake!
